HGV Class 1 Driver

Blue Recruitment Personnel is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver in Halifax for a growing transport operation covering the North West, North East and Midlands. 

This is a full-time, ongoing role offering steady work, varied routes and a professional, well-organised environment.

Job Type:

Full-time, ongoing 

Shift Pattern: 

Flexible shifts, with start times to suit the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out deliveries and collections across the North West, North East and Midlands.

• Transport goods safely and on time.

• Complete all delivery paperwork and compliance checks accurately.

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain high standards of road safety.

• Represent the business professionally at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.

• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.

• Good knowledge of UK road networks.

• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused.

• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
