Deputy Manager

Blue Recruitment Personnel is recruiting for a Deputy Manager for a residential setting in Bognor Regis.

The Role:

Blue Recruitment Personnel is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to support the day-to-day running of a residential service. 

This role would suit an established Deputy Manager or a strong Senior Support Worker ready to step up into a leadership position.

You will work closely with the Registered Manager to help maintain a safe, caring, and well-run home, ensuring high standards of support for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Registered Manager with the leadership and smooth running of the service.
• Provide hands-on support in a residential setting.
• Help supervise, guide, and motivate the care team.
• Ensure care plans, records, and daily documentation are accurate and up to date.
• Promote safeguarding, dignity, and person-centred care at all times.
• Take part in rota planning, shift cover, and on-call duties where required.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant care standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a residential setting.
• Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Preferably working towards Level 5, or a willingness to complete it.
• A full driving licence.
• Flexibility to work shifts and participate in on-call cover.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• A Senior Support Worker ready for progression would also be considered.
