Blue Recruitment Personnel is recruiting a Registered Manager to launch a brand-new solo-occupancy children’s home in Cinderford, opening in September 2026 — and you’ll be the one shaping it from the ground up.

This is a rare chance to put your own stamp on a service: leading Ofsted registration, building a team from scratch, and embedding the kind of trauma-informed, relationship-based culture that actually changes outcomes for young people.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Completing Ofsted registration as the named Registered Manager

• Recruiting, developing and shaping a brand-new staff team ahead of opening

• Embedding trauma-informed and relationship-based practice from day one

• Meeting Children’s Homes Quality Standards and leading confidently through inspections

• Building strong working relationships with local authorities and safeguarding partnerships

What You’ll Need

• Proven Registered Manager experience, or strong Deputy-level experience ready to step up

• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership (or working towards one)

• A solid working knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards

• A track record of building and retaining a strong staff team
