Commercial Gas Engineer

Blue Recruitment Personnel is recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing facilities management company based in Essex. 

This permanent role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 to £60,000/year, plus excellent benefits including a company van, fuel card, and flexible working arrangements.

You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas and heating systems across multiple client sites in Essex, with regular travel into London and the wider South East region as needed.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday, standard working hours with flexibility required to cover client needs across the region. 
• Occasional overtime and on-call opportunities may be available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, and repair commercial gas and heating systems

• Carry out gas safety inspections and compliance checks

• Undertake fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial systems

• Work on LPG systems where required

• Perform general plumbing and building maintenance tasks

• Deliver high-quality customer service across multiple client sites

• Work independently and manage your own schedule efficiently

Requirements:

• Strong commercial gas servicing and maintenance experience

• Current Gas Safe registration (essential)

• Proven LPG experience

• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills

• Full UK driving licence (essential)

• Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload

• High standard of customer service and communication skills

Suitable Experience:

Ideal candidates will have a solid background in commercial gas engineering, ideally within a facilities management or multi-site maintenance environment. 

You should be confident working across varied commercial settings and capable of delivering consistent, high-quality work with minimal supervision.
