HGV Car Transporter Driver

Blue Recruitment Personnel is recruiting for a reliable HGV Car Transporter Driver to cover work in the Sywell area. 

This role is suited to a practical and dependable driver who understands the importance of safe loading, smooth delivery, and accurate record-keeping. 

The position offers consistent work for someone who enjoys being out on the road and handling specialist vehicles. 

The Role:

You will move vehicles between customer locations, storage points, and delivery destinations, ensuring each journey is completed safely and efficiently. 

The job requires a sensible, detail-focused approach and the ability to manage your own time effectively. 

You will also be expected to complete all required checks and documentation in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload vehicles securely and safely.

• Complete pre-journey and post-journey inspections.

• Ensure delivery paperwork is completed correctly.

• Adhere to traffic laws, route instructions, and site procedures.

• Maintain a professional standard of communication.

• Report defects, delays, or concerns promptly.

Requirements:

• Full UK HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence.

• Valid CPC and digital tachograph card.

• Previous vehicle transport or similar driving experience.

• Good attention to detail and safe working habits.

• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach.

• Ability to work independently.

Suitable Experience:

• Car transporter work.

• Vehicle collection and delivery.

• Automotive transport.

• General specialist haulage.
