Order Processing Administrator

We’re looking for an Order Processing Administrator to join a busy team in Northmapton.

This temporary role pays £15.00 per hour and follows the shift pattern Monday–Thursday 09:00–17:00 and Friday 09:00–15:00, with the chance to be made permanent after 12 successful weeks.

Start: ASAP.

Role summary:

You will manage and process customer orders accurately, maintain order and customer records, and support the operations team to ensure orders are completed and dispatched on time.

The role demands excellent attention to detail and confidence working with computer systems.

Key duties:

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently and enter updates on company systems.

• Check product availability and stock levels to inform order scheduling.

• Communicate with customers by phone and email about orders and delivery dates.

• Prepare invoices, delivery notes, and other paperwork.

• Respond to customer enquiries and manage returns, refunds and order amendments.

• Maintain accurate customer and order records and support general office administration.

• Ensure orders are completed and dispatched on time; use initiative and be keen to learn.

Candidate requirements:

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

• Comfortable and confident using computer systems and databases.

• Accurate with paperwork and record-keeping.

• Strong communicator with a proactive approach.

• Previous experience in order processing, stock administration, logistics, warehouse administration, or a WMS environment is advantageous.
