Role Overview

Blue Recruitment Personnel is recruiting a Registered Manager to take full operational responsibility for a children’s home in Berkshire — a role for someone who leads from the front, holds the standard high, and genuinely believes in the difference good care can make.

You’ll carry full accountability for the home’s day-to-day running, its people, and its regulatory standing, with the backing and development support to grow it into a service you’re proud of.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Taking full operational ownership of the home, ensuring outstanding care at every level

• Providing strong, visible leadership across the staff team

• Maintaining full regulatory compliance at all times

• Shaping the service and driving continuous improvement in the quality of care delivered

What You’ll Need

• At least 2 years’ experience in a role relevant to residential childcare within the last 5 years

• Proven experience at management level within a residential setting

• At least 1 year in a role supervising and managing staff in a care capacity

• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England), or a recognised equivalent

• The experience, qualifications and skills to manage a home effectively and lead the care of children with confidence

• The physical and mental resilience to lead a demanding environment effectively
