Blue Recruitment Personnel is recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the opening and ongoing success of a new children’s home in the Nuneaton area.
The Role:
You will provide strong, compliant leadership across the home, ensuring young people receive safe, consistent, and high-quality care.
This position suits someone who can confidently balance Ofsted expectations, staff leadership, safeguarding, and day-to-day operational excellence.
Key responsibilities:
Take full registered responsibility for the children’s home and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.
Lead, support, and develop the staff team to deliver exceptional care.
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for young people with EBD needs.
Oversee safeguarding, care planning, risk management, and incident reporting.
Work closely with the Responsible Individual to drive quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.
Ensure the home is prepared for inspections and operates to a high regulatory standard.
Build a strong, stable culture from the outset in a newly established home.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or working towards it.
Proven experience in a registered manager or deputy manager role within children’s residential care.
Strong understanding of EBD, safeguarding, and Ofsted expectations.
Confident leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Experience working in a regulated residential childcare environment.
Full UK right to work.
Registered Manager or Deputy Manager experience in a children’s home.
Experience opening, stabilising, or improving a residential service.
Background in EBD, trauma-informed care, or complex needs.
Strong working knowledge of children’s home compliance and inspection requirements.
Competitive salary of £55,000 to £65,000 per annum.
