Role Overview

Blue Recruitment Personnel is recruiting for experienced Vehicle Diagnostic Technicians to join a dynamic, growing automotive team in Newcastle — a workshop that’s built its reputation on getting the diagnosis right, first time, every time.

You’ll play a central role in that reputation, working across a varied range of vehicles and using dealer-level diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues quickly and accurately.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues efficiently

• Using dealer diagnostic tools to deliver accurate assessments

• Carrying out routine maintenance and inspections

• Working closely with the wider team to keep service quality consistently high

• Keeping your workspace clean, organised and safe

• Communicating clearly with customers and delivering genuinely excellent service

• Staying sharp on industry trends and evolving vehicle technology

• Supporting and mentoring newer technicians coming up through the team

What You’ll Need

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role

• Strong mechanical knowledge and confidence in reading schematics

• Skilled with both hand and power tools

• Experience with equipment repair and maintenance
